BUYERS FAQ

Does it cost anything to use Today's Home as a Buyer's Agent?
No! All fees are paid by the Seller and negotiated by the Seller's Listing Agent.

Will I get a better deal if I don't use a Buyer's Agent?
Not likely. If you use the Listing Agent as your Buyer's Agent, that creates a Dual Agent situation and a potential conflict. It is like using your spouses' lawyer for a divorce. Who do you think will get the better deal? You are also likely to need a Buyer's Agent to handle all the legal aspects, paperwork, inspections and guide you to closing. There are a lot of costly mistakes you can make if you don't use one.

Do I have to be exclusive to a Buyer's Agent?
Typically, if the Buyer's Agent starts showing you houses, the Agent will likely want you to be exclusive for a period of time. After all, the Agent is taking his or her time to show you the houses, researching listings and home, communicating with Listing Agents and other expenses. An Agent will likely want you to invest in them as they invest in you. Since you are likely to need one and your Agent will need this to submit offers, Today's Home would be your best bet. If you don't like how Today's Home is working for you, just let us know and we will fix that or let you out of the agreement.
